On the afternoon of January 2, the 5th China Model Contest of College & University Students ended in Shenzhen. Zhou Ying’ao and Chao Wentong, the students from the School of Fashion Design, stood out for their outstanding performance and respectively won the men’s and women’s silver medals.

It is reported that this event was co-sponsored by Shenzhen Fashion Designers Association, China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival Organizing Committee, China Textile and Apparel Education Society, and Textile Teaching Guidance Committee under the Ministry of Education. 75 college student models from 61 colleges and universities across the country were finalists. The event included activities such as comprehensive quality evaluation, T-shaped stage swimsuit display and evening dresses display. It aims to explore and cultivate talents of costume performance models in the new era, and allow more modeling students get a budding stage, so as to provide excellent model talents for enhancing the confidence of fashion culture and Chinese fashion revival.
