The 2025 DLIN Symposium: Advancing Interdisciplinary Design Education in a Multicultural Context opened on 15 October 2025 at Shandong University of Art and Design. The symposium, held simultaneously in Jinan and Qingdao with both in-person and online participation, explored design-education innovation amid global cultural exchange. Experts from 50-plus universities and research institutes in eight countries gathered to map the discipline’s future at the intersection of technology and culture.
